The name of the new party of Samaras – Epic trolling of New Democracy

Antonis Samaras seems to have made his final decisions and, as those in the know report, the river no longer turns back. He is preparing the ground for his new political entity, with the exclusive aim of creating rifts in Kyriakos Mitsotakis's New Democracy and causing both communicative and substantial "coup-like" disturbances in the government camp.

The epic trolling that was not completed

What was revealed in the recent podcast of the "Efimerida ton Sintakton" by journalists Tasos Pappas and Dimitris Kanellopoulos fully reflects the intentions of the politician from Messinia. As Dimitris Kanellopoulos notably mentioned, Antonis Samaras attempted to pull off the ultimate political trolling against New Democracy: He searched for and tried to secure the iconic, historic offices of the party on Rigillis Street for his new party.

One can easily imagine the noise and impact that such a move would have caused. Ultimately, this attempt was not successful. However, the very intention clearly shows his aggressive orientation. Alternatively, the offices of Samaras's new party will most likely be housed in another building with a strong publishing and political past: in the historic building of Livani Publications, at the corner of Hippocrates and Solonos.
